• IH C-Series Cupholder

Here’s the first product from Dugan Heavy Industries, something I found myself needing as the new owner of a C-Series Travelall: a seat-mounted cupholder. I designed this to mount directly to my bench seat base with two bolts, and after working through five prototypes, I’ve settled on the first commercial version.

Laser-cut from 16 gauge stainless steel, it’s a two-piece unit that you can assemble in less than five minutes and is designed to install quickly, only requiring two holes to be drilled in the seat base hoop. (note: the unit pictured is a pre-production example cut from 16-gauge steel).

When it’s mounted, it moves with the bench seat and should be low enough to avoid the shift lever in second gear unless you’re drinking from a 60oz bucket of coffee. The holes are oversized to fit large tumblers and ringed with rubber to cut down on any vibration noise. And there’s a rubber bumper on the bottom hoop that will sit on the transmission cover when you’ve got two full drinks.

The cupholder comes with all of the hardware you’ll need: stainless locknuts/bolts for the hoop and locknuts/bolts for the seat base.

This will not work in trucks with bucket seats, and I haven’t tested it in anything other than a C-series truck.
